ReadAI Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the use of the ReadAI Smart mobile application and related features. By using the application, the user agrees to these Terms.

1. Service purpose

ReadAI provides tools for reading, storing, processing, and studying text content, including translation, text-to-speech, reading progress, dictionary, notes, and related features.

2. Registration and access

• Access to certain features may require registration or sign-in.
• The user agrees to provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
• The user is responsible for keeping sign-in credentials secure and for actions performed through their account.

3. Acceptable use

The user agrees to use the application in good faith and not to:

• Violate applicable law.
• Infringe third-party rights, including copyright, neighboring rights, and other intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to hack, bypass restrictions, or interfere with the application or server infrastructure.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, fraudulent activity, or other prohibited content.

4. User content

• The user is solely responsible for content uploaded, stored, processed, or transmitted through the application.
• The user confirms that they have the necessary rights or lawful grounds to use such content.
• The developer does not acquire ownership of user content, but may process it to the extent necessary to provide application features.

5. Intellectual property

All rights to the ReadAI application, including its design, code, functionality, interface text, graphics, and other components, except user content, belong to the rights holder or are used lawfully.

The user is not granted the right to copy, modify, decompile, distribute, or otherwise use the application outside normal personal use unless expressly permitted by the rights holder or by law.

6. Subscriptions and paid features

• Some application features may be provided on a paid basis, by subscription, or as part of a trial period.
• Price, duration, renewal, and cancellation terms are displayed in the application or in the relevant app store.
• If payment is processed through the App Store, Google Play, or another payment channel, refunds, charges, and cancellations may be governed by the rules of that platform.

7. Limitation of liability

• The application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of all features at all times.
• The developer is not responsible for inability to use the application caused by third parties, platform restrictions, lack of network access, external service failures, or user actions.

8. Suspension and termination

The developer may restrict, suspend, or terminate the user's access to the application in whole or in part if there are grounds to believe that the user has violated these Terms, legal requirements, or service security.

9. Changes to the service and Terms

• Application functionality may be changed, supplemented, restricted, or removed without prior notice unless otherwise required by law.
• These Terms may be updated. Continued use of the application after a new version is published means the user agrees to the updated Terms.
